My 7th Annual Furry Friend Fundraiser benefiting Lunas Legacy in St Augustine was a huge success this past December. Thank you for all of the donations.
I also put together hygiene bags for the homeless and displaced in St. Johns County, and they were passed out on New Years Day by our church.

-Your support and contributions will greatly benefit us while we try to meet our goals and improve the children and pets' conditions in our area.
-Your generous donation will help to fund the fundraising needs of our community.
-Throughout the years each dollar has been intentionally spent to be able to help as many people and pets as possible.
-We strive to make sure all necessities are met before we provide fun items like toys and books. {Or pet toys in the case of the pet fundraisers}
-I work closely with guidance counselors and organizers to know exactly what is needed or wanted so that donation money is not wasted or spent incorrectly.
Hi guys! My name is Makala! I started my own fundraisers when I was in third grade, which was in 2015. I have successfully come up with ideas and put together fundraisers for 15 different organizations so far. My mind is always working on who I can help next. Two of the fundraisers that I started, I now do annually. This year will be my seventh year! I reach out to my friends, family, and classmates to help me reach my fundraising goals. If you would like to contribute to my upcoming fundraising opportunities please click on the donate button above. I appreciate your donation. Please know that it will go to a deserving cause. In April 2017 I won Beaver Toyotas Award for Extraordinary Accomplishments and I was interviewed by Beach 105.5. It was an amazing experience! You can download and listen to the recording by following the link above {Under the Downloads section}. I was awarded Volunteer of the Year in St Johns County. I was the main child volunteer in my school and then came in 2nd in the county district. I was very honored. The best thing that comes out of being awarded things like this is more people hearing about my ministry and wanting to help. I couldn't provide the things I do without the support from you guys!!
Within the last seven years, I have raised over $10,000 in monetary donations, pet food, and supplies, toys for different organizations, as well as personal care products, school supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for Hurricane Irma victims. I have been able to donate to The St Johns County Pet Center for three years. I have donated to The St Johns County Homeless Coalition, The St Johns County ASSIST Program, Dreams Come True of N.E. Florida, Angel Tree, The St Francis House, Lunas Legacy Animal Rescue, Blessings in a backpack, and individual families, including Team Keagan no one fights alone. A little boy was diagnosed with leukemia. I've been able to send him toys and money to help with his travels to the Dr. I would not have been able to do what I do without the help of you all. I could never thank you enough.
My goal is to make a difference in our town and our world. I love helping people and pets, too. My heartbeat is fundraising for children. A lot of the children that I fundraise for do not have a lot, they don't even have necessities they need regularly. Providing them with hygiene products and then some added fun items like books and toys brighten my day! These kids deserve to have some of the same things that I have. It's not their fault they have less than others! They're just kids! Just like me!
This year for my school volunteer hours, I have been able to create hundreds of personalized greeting cards. It has been a great way to earn hours BUT who knew it would be so much fun that it turned into an actual hobby of mine. I have really enjoyed it.
As of right now, my next fundraiser will be my summer fun campaign in July 2023.
